End of Life Doula

I’m Deborah McCullough, and in 2019, at the age of 48, I lost my husband. That experience changed me profoundly — it awakened a deep calling to support others as they navigate the complex, tender journey of dying.

As a trained Death Doula, I studied under Dr. Martha-Jo Atkins at her respected Dying School, later completing advanced training in San Antonio, Texas. My practice is grounded in both lived experience and professional guidance, combining knowledge with deep compassion.

I am here to educate, comfort, and provide calm guidance, helping individuals and families understand what to expect. By softening fear and uncertainty, I hold space for dying to be as intentional and meaningful as living.

I offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support — from advanced care planning and legacy work to vigil and ritual preparation. This allows you and your loved ones to simply be in the sacred space of transition, supported and held.

Through this work, I create a space where fears can be voiced, hopes honoured, and life’s final chapter written with clarity and peace.

Because how we die matters.
And no one should have to face it alone.
