Kia ora, my name is Melissa Dobbs.
I am a Christian, mother to eight beautiful children, and a proud grandmother of two with another on the way. I am part Māori and European also the founder of a Charity called Pro Love. I live in South Auckland and have a deep love for life, babies, and supporting families.
My journey began with my own family—I have experienced three homebirths and five natural hospital births. Over the years, this passion has grown into both a charity and a business, allowing me to share my knowledge and experience to help create beautiful memories for you and your whānau.
I love making my own natural products and incorporating them into your birth experience, adding a personal and nurturing touch to this special time. My goal is to provide wholehearted, non-medical support—emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental—through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
I am guided by the Holy Spirit in every birth and support I provide, trusting that God leads each moment and that His presence brings peace, strength, and grace to both mama and baby. With lived experience, a nurturing presence, and deep trust in the birth process, I stand alongside families and mamas as they welcome new life with strength, dignity, and love. I believe birth is sacred, and every mama deserves to be fully seen, heard, and supported.
