Kia ora,
My name is Nell, I am a mother of four adult sons, a grandma and a traveling birth keeper, supporting women in their freebirth anywhere in NZ.
A former midwife, I worked as an LMC for 10 years, predominantly supporting families choosing home birth. I gained so much trust in women and believe that each woman has the innate knowledge to know what is best for her. I bore witness to the negative impact of what unnecessary medical interventions can do and what physical and emotional harm they can cause women and babies. I believe that birth is as safe as the mama feels it is, and when she feels supported and emotionally held that she will make the decisions best for her based on her own knowledge and innate trust.
I chose to step away from clinical midwifery practice and hospitals and instead I have been offering holistic birth keeping support for women choosing a sovereign homebirth anywhere in NZ.
I offer a virtual support package and have limited spaces for my traveling birth support program.
